Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cloud Guard Labs website (cloud-guard.in) and our apps — the Pet Health Companion app and InstaDM (collectively, the "Services"). Cloud Guard Labs is an indie studio operated by Pranay Mendhe. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services are in development

The Services are under active development and provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed as we iterate. We'll try to give notice of major changes where practical, but we can't guarantee uptime or that the Services will be free of bugs.

2. Acceptable use

• You must use the Services in compliance with applicable law.
• If you use InstaDM, you must comply with Instagram's and Meta's applicable terms and policies (including the Instagram Platform Policy). You may not use InstaDM to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or content that violates Meta's policies.
• You may not use the Services to upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
• You may not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Services.

3. Not veterinary advice

The Pet Health Companion app is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for care from a licensed veterinarian. Always consult a vet for your pet's health decisions.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription, billed in Indian Rupees (INR) [placeholder — pricing to be finalized] and processed by a third-party payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We don't store your full card or UPI details ourselves.

6. Intellectual property

The Services, including their design, code, and branding, belong to Cloud Guard Labs. You retain ownership of the content you upload (e.g. pet records, documents, photos). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Services to you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloud Guard Labs and Pranay Mendhe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. The Services are provided by a small, independent studio, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the preceding three months.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, or if we discontinue a Service, with notice where practical.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, India.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and will try to flag material changes in the app or by email.
